In honor of the National Championship game coming up on Thursday, I thought I’d share this video with you, which was shared with me (Thanks, Kelly!). It’s important to realize that the guys playing on Thursday are just regular people. It shouldn’t be their athletic ability that draws our attention to them, but their conviction and love of Christ.

UT Quarterback Colt McCoy is just one of the many examples we’re seeing in college sports of awesome athletes also becoming awesome Christian leaders. Videos like this, and visible proclamations of faith (verses on their eye black), raise an important question we non-football playing folks should ask ourselves: How are we using the stage God has given us, to spread His Word?

You might not show up to work in front of thousands of fans or in giant football stadiums, but your demonstrations of faith are no less vital than what we see from guys like Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow.
